Canadian Interiors: Shrinking Residence — Q&A with Picnic Design

We’re excited to share that Canadian Interiors features Picnic Design’s “Shrinking Residence” in a Q&A with Joanne Lam and Eric Martin on adaptable condo living.

As Eric notes, “We went from a C-shape kitchen to one with the same countertop real estate but opened up now into a J-shaped form.” Joanne adds, “By doing so, we were able to make the whole space into much more open-concept… Now, it’s much more coherent and connected.” The piece highlights how movable walls and daylight transform a compact space into a flexible, family-ready home.
