House in Little Italy Renovation Progress

After the building is stripped down to the structure, the changes begins. Rear openings are inserted, floor openings are made and underpinning of the basement start. The wood framing appear in a flash, giving a taste of the new layout, but the real work is just starting. The mechanical, plumbing, drainage and electrical systems all need to be coordinated and installed in place. While it looks like nothing is happening, it is coming together as the wires and pipes and ducts snake around the walls and floors so the systems can work to support modern living. 

The next push - insulation and drywall and tiles - will begin once the systems are substantially in place.
